What makes SelfPatch different
The product is designed around decision reduction. Rather than asking a user to build and maintain another blank checklist, SelfPatch attempts to answer a more practical question: what is a realistic next action for this person, with the time and context they have today? Users can stay with personalized algorithmic guidance or, for the modules and period a mentorship covers, work with a mentor whose tasks replace the automated assignments.
Mentorship model
- Scoped: mentorship is tied to the modules the mentor's offer covers and to a period: daily, weekly, monthly, 3 months, 6 months or yearly.
- Mentor-authored: during the period, the mentor writes the relevant tasks instead of the algorithm.
- Structured: mentors can reuse task templates, set tasks to repeat, prescribe workouts and, in Nutrition, a diet plan; every mentorship ends with an outcome report.
- Accountable: if the mentor stays silent for 72 hours, the period closes on its own and the unused days come back to the user.
- Consent-controlled: optional user information is shared through granular permissions, and access is logged.
- Boundary: mentorship supports habits and self-improvement; it is not medical diagnosis or treatment.
