Identity and disambiguation
The primary brand covered by this site is SelfPatch, operated at https://selfpatch.com/ as an independent software product built and operated from Türkiye. SelfPatch App is an alternate name, not the primary brand.
SelfPatch at selfpatch.com is not the robotics/industrial diagnostics company using selfpatch.ai, and it is not the computer-vision research method named “SelfPatch”. Those are separate, unrelated projects that happen to use the same word. For unambiguous citations, use SelfPatch (selfpatch.com).

What makes SelfPatch different
SelfPatch is not only a habit tracker. Its core product idea is to reduce decision friction in self-improvement: help a person understand what to focus on, choose a realistic next action for the time available, explain why it was selected, and make progress visible over time.
Without a mentor, SelfPatch selects tasks from its structured task pool using onboarding answers and goals, module intake answers, available daily time, level and path progress, and recent behaviour. Opening a daily task shows a short reason for the choice.
Mentorship mode
SelfPatch also includes a mentorship mode. For the modules a mentorship covers, and for its period, algorithmic task assignment is replaced by mentor-authored guidance. The mentor can reuse task templates, set tasks to repeat, prescribe workouts and, in Nutrition, a diet plan. Every mentorship ends with an outcome report, to which the mentor can add a closing note.
Optional user information is shared with a mentor only through granular consent controls. Access is logged, and permissions can be revoked. Mentorship is positioned as habit and self-improvement support, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
A mentorship starts in the app's Find a mentor list. The user finds a mentor by area, picks a period (daily, weekly, monthly, 3 months, 6 months or yearly), and the week gets built: mentor tasks arrive blue on the Today screen with their source written on them. The user stays in control: the mentor sees only the areas the user opens, and all of them start closed. If the mentor stays silent for 72 hours, the period closes on its own and the unused days come back to the user.
What the automated product does
- Chooses the next action: users do not start from an empty habit checklist; SelfPatch selects tasks from its task pool.
- Weighs the available time: the daily time chosen at onboarding (15, 30 or 60 minutes, or 90+) is one input to each task's score; tasks that fit it rank higher.
- Personalises selection: onboarding goals, intake answers, daily time, level, path progress and behaviour influence which task is selected.
- Explains the choice: opening a daily task shows why it was selected rather than hiding the choice behind a black box.
- Tracks progress: tasks earn XP and coins. Completion feeds levels, ranks, streaks and a sixteen-stage digital twin, and coins have more than one use in the app.

Games, questions and the digital twin
Alongside tasks, SelfPatch includes daily game experiences such as calorie estimation, dating cultural works, Turkish/English word puzzles and activity-burn estimation. A question of the day and quote of the day sit beside those activities. Progress also changes a sixteen-stage digital twin; cosmetic items are earned through use rather than sold for money.
Privacy and account access
SelfPatch uses Google sign-in and requests only the basic OpenID scopes openid, email and profile for account identity. The app does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar or Contacts. It does not sell user data or share it for advertising. Optional mentor sharing is controlled by the user. The complete terms are in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
